Since Goldwings are pushing $30k, it is no surprise that the 2023 Civic Type R starts at $42,895.00. Comparatively maybe a good deal? It’s packing a 315 hp 2.0 liter turbo 4 cylinder and a 6 speed with rev matching a data on board data logger. I’m glad I like old cars, now I can’t afford a Civic!

I have been driving my 95 Impala back and forth to Lexington everyday for a few weeks and she just flipped over to 215,000 miles all on the original long block. I’ve been working out some kinks in some of the electronic systems but it seems to run better the more miles I rack up. One thing for sure, it’s like riding a Valkyrie, you seldom meet one coming at you.

We were sitting at Sam's for fuel and one of them pulled in for ethanol mixed fuel. Huh? Of course my wife seen it instantly and started asking questions and by damn I answered to the T as for the motor spec's w/o knowing chit about it though 315 hp. is over twice the hp as our 2.0 Suzuki.  Grin

Personally, I prefer older vehicles.  I have a 1999 Interstate, 2006 Mustang GT, and a GMC Sonoma pickup with 250,000 miles.  The best part is, they are all paid for.

My wife asked me when was I going to get rid of that old truck.  I said, "Honey, I don't get rid of things because they are old, I still have you."  The last thing I remember is getting up off the floor.

That thar's funny, don't care who U R.

I agree on keeping what's paid for till it needs to get towed off.   If, it's still doing what I need done, it's good enough for me.   Still have the same wife, 41 years.   Wouldn't even think about trading her in, I still have gotten her trained.   Roll Eyes    Every time I think I've got her paid off, I find another bill..........
