https://www.nj.com/food/2022/11/costco-chicken-recall-150k-pounds-of-frozen-meat-recalled-due-to-contamination.html

Costco is recalling Foster Farms cooked frozen chicken patties because they might contain plastic pieces, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The FSIS notice said Foster Farms produced the recalled chicken on Aug. 11 and shipped it to Costco distribution centers across Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah and Washington.

The recall states that the product may have been shipped to other states, as well.

good to know, but never bought that there at least.  What is VERY good though, IMO, is Costco's 16 pre-made pkgd. frozen round hamburger patties in around 80 to 85%.  The 90% or greater is too lean and is too dry, especially grilling them.  Ends up around 4 bucks per lb., not cheap, but what is nowadays and frozen and very good quality I think to just toss frozen on the grill ready to go.

Their breaded cod fillets and breaded cheese curds in 2.5lb.  both in cardboard box are great as well in an air fryer.    cooldude
