I finally was able to get our 2 year old cockatiel, Solis, to talk on camera.

Yes, he's hard to understand.  Cockatiels aren't known as great talkers.

To add: since I have been into Amateur Radio since 1960 I can identify with the Police Radio similarity.

Sounds like Linda Blair in the Excorsist. I love tiels. I’ve had a few over the years. My kitty has a meow that makes me think his head will spin around and projectile vomiting will happen.

Tiels are bi-polar.  Solis can be acting all nice, next minute he's a raging bite machine.

I've seen many videos on Youtube of all different birds. They definitely have their own personalities and sense of humor. Cockatoos are a riot.
