Great games.  Saints/Vikes was exciting. Congrats to both the Saints and the Colts.

Although I am a Saints fan, kudos to Favre.  He played a great game and had the 'nads to finish the game injured.  I think the officials were slanted to the Saints or it may have turned out differently.

It is going to be fun watching Peyton Manning and Drew Brees go for the title!  cooldude

You can say that again. I've suffered through four Super Bowl losses with them and many other disappointments in between. This just adds to the growing list.   tickedoff Angry

Worst part is that it's not looking like Favre is coming back. He says he's already made up his mind but didn't want to announce it before the game...

Not to be a whiner, mostly cuz the Vikes beat themselves with turnovers, but the Saint's D sure took some cheap shots. I hate when the strategy is to "take out" the QB (like they did against the Cardinals, and tried to do with Favre). I hope to see fines or suspensions come out of this. Not the way the game is supposed to be played.

Agreed.  The Saints were given that last three replay calls, and at least one of them should have gone to the Vikings.  I am also looking forward to the bowl, though.  Any one of the teams, yesterday, would have put on a show.

For me it's a "no-lose" situation. I've always been a fan of this guy

But I'm also glad to see the Saints finally make it to the big show!!
No matter who wins I'll be happy about it in some way, shape, form or fashion!!

My, how time flies.  It seems like only a couple years ago I was listening to the Minnesota Vikings play the KC Chiefs on the car radio with my dad.  We had been to Independence Mo to visit relatives and the game was all the talk that day so dad tuned it on the radio as we drove home.  I don't think their Arrowhead stadium along I-70 was even built at the time.  That was like 40 years ago: 1970, if memory serves me.

the losing est franchise in football history is going to the superbowl. I am really happy to see it. took long enuff tho.

oh and btw, cheap shots and hard hits are part of the game. football is a FULL CONTACT  sport. no sissy's allowed. hence brett jones quitting the colts in baltimore. cried like a baby. no crying from anyone!!! the Saints deserve this win because the EARNED it by being hungry enuff to take it from the vikings. Brett Farve is leaving, yes, on an interception and giving the game to the saints in the last minutes...tuff to live that down.

If he would have ran 10 yards, run outa bounds, they would have been in feild goal range and the game woulda been over. bad choice to throw across field like that. It is sad but, it IS football!!!

I heard during one of the games that this will be the Colts 4th Superbowl ever. They won one. The Saints have never been. I am sorry to say I will be cheerin the Colts on. If the Saints would have been playing anyone else I would go with them. But being a Colts fan I will be going with the Colts. Should be a good game......GO COLTS.......... Smiley

Being from Michigan, I hate to say that the Lions are now officially the losing est franchise.  They haven't ever been to the Superbowl.

I like the Colts, but always go for the underdog!  Go Saints!!

I believe that the only Superbowl the Colts lost was to the Jets. I think their first SuperBowl victory was over Dallas and the last was against the Bears.

Don't take this wrong Dogg. But you Baltimore fans need to get over the Colts leaving. It's been over 25 years. Not one Colt player was on the team then. Most om them were not even born yet. Keep in mind you guys got your team from Cleveland. How do you think they feel?
