Central eastern Kentucky getting its first real rain event in about two months. Nice change of pace. In October all the precipitation we got wouldn’t even settle the dust. I rode as much as I could knowing what is coming, temps in the 20’s heading this way they say. Hope DDT has found a dry spot to hold up while the regents of the hurricane pass through. Hope the Veterns day ride isn’t to wet and everyone remains safe!

Here in western NC we are getting light steady rain nothing what the forecanters predicted of 3 to 5 inches.

It looks like the are south of the mountains Franklin, Highland, Cashiers and Brevard are getting much more as the clouds push up against the southern slopes of the Appalachians..

We're soaked.

The place where they are in Alabama looks OK...
