I was just looking at the list of who was online right now. I was surprised to see 65 guests and only 16 users.

Guests out number registered users by almost 5 to 1.

I just found that interesting.

If one is reading and didn't bother to login he is listed as a guest.

It is true that anyone can read the board without being a member. That knowledge should cause one to be particularly careful about posting personal information such as email address or telephone number on the board.

Guests cannot see the information in a user's profile.

From my experience running forums and websites, but not specifically this one, a lot, if not most of those "guest" users are web crawling bots for various search engines and web indexers...

I rarely log in. I have no interest in the PAM Board so I can read all I want to as a guest. If I see something that I feel like replying to, I will log in(like now). Most of the time I look at the General Board to see if DDT has made another post. Sometimes, but not often, I will check the Tech Board.
