I am ready to buy a set of Dunlop Elite three tires for my Valkyrie. Direct Line's prices are much higher than Dennis Kirk's prices even with the 12.5% sale.
Does Hal match prices first then give the discount? Otherwise why would I buy from Direct Line with their huge markup?

No... either or, not both.   They do price match  .......If their competitors advertised price is lower (including shipping costs and all fees) then they will beat it by 5% or $5 (whichever is less).    (Excludes any items found on E-bay)

I would try Motorcycle Superstore... I've always had good luck with their stuff, and the prices are usually better than Dennis Kirk's

ever tried Avon? it is a far superior tire in my opinion. The Elite 3's I had wore terrible and mad the bike wobble. Put a new avon on front and dark side rear and no wobble at any speed.

My front tire is a 150/80/17 and I used both a Avon Cobra. Put 384 miles on Sunday and I don't know what it is about the Avon, It is the best tire I have put on the front compared to Dunlop and Metzler. 384 is not many miles, if it stay's like this I will install an Avon regardless of price---- well almost---!

wore out a set of Elite 3's. Went to Avon Cobra's. with about 4 k on em the rear seperated. So, I put the CT on that I'd been thinking about. Want go back. Still have the Cobra on front and sticks great.
After the Elites, the cobras seemed mushy, and squirley. They have about half the rubber compound of what the Elites have. I believe you could flat on the Elites and limp it to where you're going, not so on the Cobras.

I had a very low mileage Avon Cobra front start to check in the rain grooves  Angry. Avon did replace with no major hassle but I still had to pay for another mount / balance  Angry. Don't know if I'll buy Avon again. I like the looks of the Metz my bud just put on his '97.
