Has anyone used this, or has everyone used the vacuum Audiovox? Does it work better?

There are discussions from a few years ago on the Rostra in the Old Tech Archives.

A fellow called me the about two weeks ago and we talked about it quite a bit. He said that Rosta bought out the audiovox people and the new controlls were basicly a non-vaccum audiovox unit. I believe his name was Jim but not sure of that. Maybe he'll see this and post his results.

If I remember correctly, DFragn played with this concept of cruise control about 2-3 years ago before going with the McCruise.  If he should chime in, he might have some input from his experiences.  I remember reading about it from searches on the old board.  DFragn is a sharp guy and his experiences is what convinced me to go with the McCruise...JTL  Smiley Smiley Smiley

I had a hard time getting the search to work, but I removed the frames and was able to get some good info.

Don't want to hi-jack this thread, but if DFragn would reply, I would like to know more about the McCrusie and if anyone close to So. Illinois can install it? Thanks, Hef
