When looking up the part number for a part the PCN will tell what other bike this part is found on. The PCN is the middle three digits of the p/n. This is a link to a web site that shows all the PCN's for Honda bikes. https://www.vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/BHondaPCNs.htm

Within the above link is another link that goes into the breakdown of the VIN. Just thought it might be something we can benefit from as these bikes age and parts become difficult to find.
