Its a balmy 39 degrees here. Just got in from chopping 1/2 inch of ice still on the walks from the last massive global cooling ice age a week or so ago.

Met Sandra's sister and friend at Avanu in New Smyrna Beach for dinner. https://avanuonflagler.com/I had Panang Curry Shrimp. Lightly breaded shrimp over basil rice served with in-house made panang coconut curry, garnished with toasted coconut. Two thumbs up.  |

Sandra's son and daughter in law are in Las Vegas on a business trip.
Checked in at the Rio and the room had blood and other stains stains on the walls. Front desk told them they'd get room cleaners over as soon as they could but it would be a while.
Checked out of there and into the MGM.
Daughter in law was in the MGM lobby this morning and a woman asked for help as she was being human trafficked.
Jamie called security who in turn called the police who in turn got the pimp and took him away in cuffs.

Sandra told me she had never seen so many people out for a launch and she's seen many. We were across the water from lift off and booster return. Grills Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar.   No video of the booster returns but the double sonic boom from each was loud enough to startle the crowd. The nearby causeway was lined with parked vehicles. |

Minor emergency with joey. He tried humping a dog at daycare and it nipped him on the neck and just opened his surgical scar slightly. So I'm headed home to pick him up tomorrow and take him home.

Lunch at "Flavors of India" Coca Beach.  Manly with new toy.  This reminds me a lot of a meal I used to get in Amsterdam called Rijsttafel. They would bring out a plate with rice on it and 20+ little bowls with different sauces, meats etc. and you would slowly get a little of each and work it into the rice. It was wonderful. -RP |

Home again with Joey. His neck isn't as bad as a photo made it look. Anyway I didn't want him in solitary confinement for the next 5 days as a neck protection.
I'm pleased I saw the Falcon launch- booster reentries.

Where my daughter lives, bigger city up north in WI, she told me sex trafficking of younger females is a bad thing going on up there more so than most places. The one time I visited Washington DC staying at a hotel downtown leaving to go for the 1 mile walk to see the sights, right outside of the hotel a tall black guy dressed in red dress asked me if I wanted to have a good time HONEY. At first I thought he was talking to someone else so looked around and was me. I was like WTF! and laughed my you know what off and said NO thanks and kept right on walking away. Something you do NOT see in small town USA where I live for sure. This world surely has the crazies in it for sure. |
