Valhalla - September 7-10 @ Johnny's Motel in Grand Forks, BC

Getting things done early...Motel is booked for Valhalla 2023. 24 of the 25 rooms are blocked off for our group. Reservations can be made by calling Johnny's direct @ 250-442-8242, indicating that you are with the Valhalla Valkyrie group. Or you can reserve online @ www.johnnysmotel.ca
Room #6 is still available   Wink

Will be very similar in format to last year's, with an added feature...with border restrictions being lifted, we will be able to plan one of the rides South of the border, along 395, 20, etc!

Looking forward to another great event  cooldude

Sounds like we're getting the group together again, things are moving forward.

My sister also just bought a Porsche, and my brother bought one last year. I've offered for both to follow me up to Grand Forks, and my bro most likely will and share my room with me. If my sister does come, she'll spend some time with friends who live close by. Might be nice having a couple of chaser cars following us in our ride around the area.

Just a reminder to register with the motel ASAP if your coming to Valhala 2023, as it's just about full up. I beleive there were only 4 or 5 rooms left as of last week.

Valhalla Rally is almost a month away, and I suspect that any further holding of rooms for our group will be released.

So it's not only about how many of use are going, but that others will now be able to take those free rooms.

There will be 6 of us Idaho Boys joining you at Valhalla this year.
Really looking forward to this trip. It’s been way too long.

Guys,

Can you sound out about the level of forest fires you are fighting in that area.  We in Idaho are no strangers to forest fires nor smokey skies but I'm curious what your thoughts are for effected riding loops.

Thanks
Jim White

All restrictions have been lifted as of Wednesday, August 23rd except for West Kelowna. The valley is expecting rain tonight and tomorrow.

As of today, no significant fire issues or travel restrictions in the general area of Grand Forks. Day rides will be decided upon once everyone  arrives on the evening of the 6th, just in case there are active fire issues in a particular direction.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at Valhalla. Don't forget the gift exchange...format of the meetup will be the same  as last year.
