Gotta keep the inside of the gas tank shiny and free of decomposing corn gas goo...

It always makes Valkorado jealous when I post green pictures this time of year.
This is just a corn field planted in winter rye or something, there's plenty of
not-green around...

Numerous people planted cotton this year, some bales are still sitting in
the fields...

I just snapped this.  Both girls in that 12 x 20, Bullet not running (?!) and Ruby needing kickstand work.

More gifts from the Pineapple Express on the way, big storms in the forecast for the rest of the week.
Just watched the weather gal, says to watch for up to 13" overnight into manyana.  It's dumping out right now.  Undecided

Yes, we have roof shovelers on order but they are slammed and can't get here until a week from tomorrow.

I let 3fan take the bike well over a year ago,
who know it would be 6 months since any riding on the Valk and bmw both?

we have had less than an inch of snow thus far

Yes but it's getting crowded nowadays.

Hopefully not too crowded, as there may be a couple Canucks coming down to ride those mountains sometime this year Smiley

Yep, ran two tanks of fuel through the Valk Trike today, went south to the Gulf Coast, turned east until we hit that nasty wet stuff some folks call rain, turned north and eventually found our way home.   Was overcast all day but, was still a good day to ride.

Weather permitting, the two wheeled cruiser goes out tomorrow.   The weather man will determine what direction I ride.

Valkorado, glad to see you are getting the snow we have been sending you.

Thankfully Mother Nature is listening to me, our snows have been about 500' above house level for most of the pineapple express events.  Still have a couple more storms to go thru so not holding my breath.

Hubcapsc, we have bare ground too, just not green grass.  Well mostly bare had 1" of snow yesterday morning.    tickedoff

About 8 additional inches of wet heavy stuff last night.  More coming today.  Been out shoveling this morning, in anticipation dread of the upcoming "big" snows later this week.

Mike, hopefully I'll have a bike dug out and running by then if ya get this way. It would be nice to ride around with ya.

Oleman, you can turn off the taps already.   tickedoff

Just curious on extension black plastic rack on back.  How did you attach it to the chrome rear flat rack behind rear seat?  Am sure you needed it if attaching a larger luggage bag on back since the flat chrome rack behind rear seatback is not very big.

Also, can you still get new or used the fold down armrests for rear passengers?  Or is that part of the unobtanium of parts so hard to find like some now?

The plastic base is a Givi base, I have a smaller and a larger Givi. I extended the OEM
rack with some wood. It would be better to modify one of those aftermarket heavy folded
metal racks, I know of people who have broken their OEM racks when they're over loaded.
My bike is normally set up solo, so I don't care what the modified rack looks like, it is
functional.

Ultimate Seats and Big Bike Things both have offered armrests, and I think they both still do.
Mine (Carolyn's) are Ultimate...

do not see Ultimate website sells the passenger armrests. Looks like Big Bike Things has them still though for aorund 200 bucks, but they do NOT fold up and out of the way when getting on/off which MIGHT be an issue being just stationary.  Does your ultimate's flip up and out of the way when getting on/off the cycle for passenger?
sure looks like they do in that one pic for sure.  I wonder if I keep an eye out on websites for a good used set under 150 bucks they be available here or other places?
