Eagles Trounced and Embarrassed the Forty Niners. That last quarter of the Chiefs Bengals matchup was one of The Best quarters in Pro Football I've seen in awhile!  cooldude Folks are already questioning the officiating in the Chiefs V Bengals game. Officiating aside The whole Chiefs game was exciting But that last quarter Was the game!  coolsmiley RIDE SAFE.

Virtually every flag was closely looked at and in every instance, the refs were right.   There were a few times I thought a flag should have been thrown and wasn't.

Very obvious the Chiefs were operating with an injured QB.   Thought it was ironic the 3 point (field goal) differential.   Two very closely matched teams.

did not get the do over call

Not calling the red challenge flag on the drop before TD #1 was a big error, That was the game.

If I was rep I would have simply added time on the clock after the do over play as both sides ran the play from start to end.

The final penalty on Ossai was a shame that one moment kept the game from OT and he will never forget that penalty that he deserved.

It was a great game otherwise

What a nail-biting game!  But I totally enjoyed the win!  Mahomes was even playing with an injured ankle and Kelce was questionable until 2 hours before the game due to a back injury!!  Hopefully our injured players will all be healthy come the 12th!

On to the Super Bowl now!!

GO CHIEFS!!!!!

no skin in the SuperBowl, but am sure the Eagles are favored highly.  Although, never can count out Mahomes.

I woulda liked to see the Bengals win it all though, if had a choice.

The problem on the "do over" was they didn't put the time back on clock as instructed and the ref didn't pay damn bit attention to clock and tried to stop the play with Mahomes looking straight at him? but continued to play like it was an defensive offside play/freebee which he got sacked with the loss of 9 yds. and 4th down. The late hit in the end was barely legit but it did put them in kicking range. The officiating sucked both way's but Cincinatti got the brunt of it. Otherwise damn good game. I see a rivalry in the AFC for long time to come.  Wink Hopefully "overview" cam will be implemented and speed the call process and take the human "error" out of the call's. Every since legalize betting across the nation, this is becoming more an issue. The New Orleans pass interference not being called was the most blatant of all 1/2019.

my brother's kid who lived several years in his late 20's in Philadelphia says their fans are one of the worst.  No fact to back that up from me, but he said they were horrible to deal with on game day.  Same could be said though of any team I guess.  The lady who was in our wedding decades ago worked with my wife said she ONLY ONCE went to Vikings metrodome in MN being a HUGE Packer's fan of course from WI in the Brett Favre era and she was cheering for the Packers and a Vikings fan threw a GLASS beer bottle at her and hit her.

That would not stand well with me if that happened to me regardless of what teams are playing. Am sure she was hooting and hollering since usually the Packers beat the Vikings, but to toss a glass bottle at someone is beyond reasoning.

I don't watch any other football than the Chiefs, been a lifelong Chiefs fan but, I've never missed a Super Bowl.   Having said that, I'm hoping the many injured Chief's players are back to 100% and it's a good game between the 49ers   Eagles and Chiefs.     I'd honestly hate a blow out regardless of who wins.

If watching the Superbowl if for nothing else to see the commercials.  I thought last year's Superbowl the commercials were not that good though.  One thing is for sure,  I will NOT be watching the Pro Bowl which is a total joke.    Might as well get us older folks out there and play a game, at least be more amusing to watch...

Agreed, the Pro Bowl is a joke.   There really isn't a game going on, no real hits, no hard tackling.  Does it matter who wins?   No massive paychecks for the winners..........

Superbowl discussion, on the parts people really care about:

Anyone wanna put money on if M&M does a big re-introduction of their M&M characters in a Superbowl commercial, and say the whole recent thing was just a fakeout?

Some time in my childhood Budweiser would bring the Clydesdale horses and the beer wagon to Point Pleasant Beach, NJ which is the next town east of us. I think it was during the Benihana Offshore Grand Prix. They are beautiful horses and huge too, at least they were to a kid.

To a child they would seem huge but, I assure you, even the smaller ones are a sight to see.  As a child, we had horses and a few different teams, no Clydesdales but, some beautiful animals.   The handlers are all professionals with huge arms, try driving a team of eight horses and you'll know why.  Wink

Went to the Budweiser brewery in Fort Collins Co. a few years back. They are one of the breweries that house a Clydesdale team. Got to walk up to a few in the paddock(?) area.
I was not a kid at that time and they were gargantuan to me.

Clearly you don't want to upset these creatures although I'm sure the death would be swift and virtually painless if you did.

We went to St. Louis specifically to see the Cydesdales. My Youngest Daughter was 4 or 5 at that time. She had grabbed a handful of grass and I hoisted her up and this particular Clydesdale was already at the fence. Daughter held out the grass and I saw his teeth were bigger than my Daughters hand. She had a little left after the first bite of grass she opened her hand and he removed all the grass without harming my Daughter. This got a squeal of Pure Delight from my Daughter. I also remember the drive back home-with meal stop bout 6 hrs-all she could talk about was that Huge Horse! I'm still about 6' 2" and those horses seemed huge to me and I was still driving big truck at that time. Very Impressive Horses. RIDE SAFE.

Michael Vick is the dude, he did the dog fighting while in Atlanta playing for the Falcons. He did his prison time, almost 2yrs, and then the Eagles hired him. There have been zero reports of him involved with dog fighting since then.

He did his time for his crime.
IMO he should have done longer time since he lied to the FEDs during the investigation.

sadly his younger brother was more talented than he was, but was even more of a nut case, and ran afoul of the law too many times.

Hmmm...super bowl KO time is 5:30pm my time, sounds like a good time to go to the gym. Judging by other years, I most likely will have very little company which makes it easier to have a good workout. Sadly, I'll miss the halftime show(oh woe is me)! Roll Eyes

I don't get it.  I swore off pro football when they endorsed disrespect of the National Anthem and our flag... as did many of my friends and acquaintances.  But, now, it seems that all is forgotten or at least forgiven.

I don't get it.  Are our collective memories that short?
