i like the shovel attachment, wonder what that is all about?  Needs a bigger, comfier, spring loaded seat though.

I like the 100 mile range and 25 mph is plenty fast enough for a gas or e-bike.

I just bought a slightly used e-bike for 1100, company wellness program paid for 900 of it, well not really AFTER taxes got taken out of it on my paycheck.  It is pretty heavy but the older age 85 gent fell off of it and his wife said NO more bicycle riding.  He upgraded the seat to a BIG wide one with 100 dollar aftermarket suspension system under the seat, very comfy and forgiving ride all day seat, as well as adding a small carrying bag and rearview side mirror.  Is only a 350watt motor though vs. 500 watt which limits mile range to say 30 miles pedal assist (guessing 15 miles tops if no pedaling all electric) vs. guessing 35-38 mile range for 500 watt motor and only goes 20 mph top speed vs. a 500 watt electric motor has quicker takeoffs and goes 28 mph, which IMO is way overkill.    That extra say 5-8 mile range would be nice though since if NO electricity helping me along, the e-bike is pretty darn heavy to just pedal by your own power, but can be done on level surface mostly concrete but if on a bike trail of crushed rock, is pretty hard to do, but can be done a huge workout.

speaking of workout,  for those that never tried an ebike, IMO, is totally cheating not much of a workout with pedal assist.  You basically have to pedal to get the pedal assist from the motor, but the motor does say 85% of the workout, just have to pedal is about it not that hard to do.

My wife went with me last fall about 25 miles each time out and I have to run on level 3 (is a 7 speed) to go 10-11 mph but if I bump it up to level 4 (more e-power) while pedaling goes 12-14 mph which is too fast for my wife to keep up on her non e-bike normal bicycle.  I can no longer keep up with her on the bike trails on a regular bicycle.  I can also not go quite as  far as I used to but could still do say 22 miles total on a regular bicycle, but probably not over 25 miles.  With my e-bike, I can go faster which she does and able to go say 35 miles if need be until the battery is dead.  Have not got that far yet though will this spring once gets nice out in April/May.  Got 3-4 bicycle longer mile trails we wanna do before all the bugs come out in late June here in WI.
