Rode 194 miles this morning in the Sealy to Brenham area and I saw several fields with bluebonnets a d some Indian paint brushs along the pavements.  Soon to be that time of year

Redbuds are coming out here... do y'all have redbud trees mixed in
with your bluebonnets?

Our Mexican Plum tree has already bloomed and is done.  It was damaged in the ice-pocalypse, tried to bloom early then faded.  Typically, when that tree blooms it lasts about a week and smells wonderful the moment you step out the back door.  Not this year...

I rode out to Wimberley, Blanco and beyond on Sunday and didn't see any signs of flowers along the way.  It's been kinda warm the past two days, so maybe that will get 'em started here in the Hill Country.
