I think it’s a good idea but a bigger motor would be nice lake 700-800cc.
But I can see a lot of older men riding this.

it has to get more than 43 mpg right?  I have a 249cc single cylinder scooter and gets 63 avg mpg consistently and does 78 mph top speed.  biggest issue I see on this only 160cc engine is NOT adequate at all for 2 up commuting, but be fine for 55 mph speed zones riding solo and NEVER interstate riding maxing it out at say 70 mph top speed.

they should have upped the engine to minimum 600cc for 2 up touring.  Then again,  my suzuki burgmann 650 is a winner for 2-up comfort touring all day long IMO.  Is big and bulky at 600lbs. but hauls me and the wife at 500lbs. with ease doing 75 mph all day long no problems and plenty of storage.

Secondary roads and highway @ max 55 mph., maybe. Comparable to my old 71' CL175 performance wise I'm sure. My old XL250 thumper would do 60 all day two up on the level but....

yah, mini mini goldwing too mini of an engine to be useful under most all driving conditions.  what were they thinking? My 249cc scooter I paid 1 grand for about 10 years ago has almost as much storage under seat with top rear trunk and side cloth saddlebags and 2 cloth storage bags strapped on top of rear seat.  My storage is on par with a real 1832cc goldwing.  even that 249cc engine I would not ride double on since suspension is lacking to hold 500lbs. for 2 riders I think it maxes out at around 380lb. capacity.
