I shold be there, but we are busy getting snowed in in Jackson TN at the moment. Just my luck. If it were raining soup, I'd be outside with a fork and a plate.

2 inches of ice/sleet, covered with 5 inches of fluffy white snow. Snow should be over in the next couple of hours. Local meteorologists predicted the end of the world, but in reality it was a bad winter storm by Oklahoma standards, but not as bad as they predicted. Pretty much everything is shut down, but we don't have the resources here to deal with extended bad weather and roads. But we have electricity here in OKC, which is more than lots of folks in SW Oklahoma can say. We'll survive -Scott

Isn't it amazing how the meteorologists can make a mountain out of a mole hill? hahaha, I like that..."predicted the end of the world" comment. Heard it many times here in Houston. Heck, they activated the "emergency broadcast system" today at least 10 times for "dangerous thunderstorms"!! OMG, when did we start being warned about thunderstorms? Well, as a SKYWARN storm spotter, it seems like a great deal of crying wolf... Hay Jimmyt

It aint the end of the world but it is widespread. Charlotte, NC stations was predicting end of the world type stuff also. Glad you and Joni have power.
