My wife makes assumptions. And I’m a nearly flawless human being.
I haven’t had a regular doctor in 15 or 16 years. I’ve been pretty lucky in life with health. Nearly all of my doctor and hospital visits have been due to injuries. No prescription medication all my life. Even with this history I let my wife make me an appointment. Sometimes I think she projects her health record and is envious of my superior dna. Today was the appointment. Evidently they do things differently these days. The first visit is not a check up, but just a get to know you and shake your hand. For $265, of course. During this “get to know you” visit, I find out there will be a questionnaire filled out during the follow up to the get to know you. My new doctor is young 30 something young lady. She seems to be very curious and inquisitive. One of the benefits of being 65 versus 30 something is that personal questions about pee strength, virility, butthole exams are taken with a whole lot less pride. But, I find it odd that the government wants to know my seatbelt tendencies ? Then I got to thinking. We are all just boiled down to an algorithm. Every entity has us in their matrix. It’s not just Netflix and Amazon, but everybody. My 65 years are being distilled into an algorithm.
I’m contemplating throwing them off. If I change my answer of caffeine intake from 12 cups a day to 0, change my alcohol intake to an 18 pack per day, 3 packs of Camel unfiltered, I believe I can throw them off the trail. Wish me luck.
