Cheehaw Gathering

  I'm going to the Cheehaw Gathering in Honor of Danny McMillian that Wood Butcher has organized for next week. Jeff=Chrisj is riding up with me and VTX Bill said he was going. I believe it will be a good group of Valkyrie riders. Anyone else going from our FL group? If you find you have an opportunity to go we are leaving from Milton this Thursday 13th. I can send you the info. The weather is suppose to be AWESOME!

Good morning.  We used to go to a place in Alabama called Cheaha State Park back about 16 or so years ago.  Is that where you folks are going?  No two wheeler any longer but y'all have fun and be careful in the parking lot of the motel if you stay there.  It is an optical illusion and someone always dropped their bike so be sure it is pointing up hill.

  Yep, that is where we will be. Maybe 25-30 bikes was what I last heard. I've been a couple times and north of there. A good area and the weather is suppose to be great. I remembered there is a lot of gravel around some of the parking areas but thank you for the heads up.

If you haven't been to Barber Vintage Motorcycle Museum it is a must see and well worth the price of admission.  When I was there they had I think it was a red and white Valkyrie.  Tons of old motorcycles and scooters like Cushman etc.

  Absolutely place is amazing! Marion Andretti's team was there racing one time I was there. I highly recommend it to all and plan on spending 1/2 a day and that's moving thru in a quick pace. I like to read the history of the bikes.  I've been there 3-4 times over the last 7 - 8 years. Yes the Red/White is still there.

Took me a bit over two hours to clean the Cobra bike after the Cheaha trip. I almost forgot how dirty the bikes get up there   Totally worth it for the event and for the riding.

  Great time at Cheaha State Park Rally in honor of Danny McMillian. Maybe 20 bikes and 10 of those 2 up.
Some of the pic's from Saturday. It was a great time with friends and making new ones. Many of you know most of us that were there.
