I followed a GL1200 up and over the Rocky Mountains a little over a year ago and it was not being held back. They move quite well.

I had a 1983 Goldwing 1100 in that same color. Back then you could buy a Goldwing which was the stripped down model like the Valkyrie standard with no bags or fairing or windshield. That is what I had. Then there was a dresser model called an Interstate If I remember correctly. The really decked out model was the Aspencade.

I bought mine in 1983 and rode it till 2000 when I bought my first Valkyrie.

I sold the Goldwing to a guy at work who rode it for many more years. It was a great bike.
