How long have your throttle cables lasted? Do any knowledgeable members have any recommendations as to what buy if needed?

I'd get OEM cables...

The ones for my 97 Tourer are 17920-MZ0-000 and 17910-MZ0-000 and
cost $35.09 x 2  at partzilla...

In ‘03 I bought a ‘98 tourer with 19K. Sold it in ‘18 with 155K. Still had original cables.

In 50 years I've never replaced a throttle cable on anything. 48 years and counting on my Honda 550. Clutch cables... that's a different story.
