I wish Niehaus Cycles was still raffling off a brand new Gold Wing each year.  That would be my best option of getting myself one, barring committing a bikejacking.  Wink  I entered a few times and lost, but it was still nice to dream.

Not possible for me. My next road trip will be Inzane. The balance of this years travels will have to be day trips mostly east of my home. I do plan to make an appearance at the Dragon Wyre since it’s only an hour from my front door.

Americade would be a wonderful trip/experience for me since I have never visited that part of the country. I hope you have a spare $25-30k as the force is strong once you ride the new Wing, so I’m told! cooldude

Thinking about it, roughly a 300mi. ride for me.

I used to go every year back in the 90's, but when the "loud pipes save lives" crowd took over I stopped.
Couldn't hear yourself think while walking down the main street.

I think it's about 20yrs since I've been, maybe it's changed?

Yes  you were on your way to nova scotia to ride the cabot trail right?

The only way to get a ride on a wing is to be on line by 8am which means I have to hit the road at 430am

Not happening   I will have to stay overnite somewhere in the area

Last time I could not get a ride as they only had 2 of them and slots filled up by 930 when I arrived

I did the Lake Placid loop via Long Lake and down thru Ticonderoga then rode home with a new front tire
