I get bad hay fever, especially this time of year when there's bushes to hog
and weeds to eat... maybe I have a cold? Nah, it'll be fine  cooldude ...

So off I go over 215 to Maggie Valley to meet Britman for the ride to Slade.
I got there Thursday evening and met up with Britman and Sandra to
listen to some live music at a place they like. I was whipped, not very
sociable and left when their food came. By the morning I was sure
I didn't need to be on a motorcycle all day for the next three days.

Britman showed up at my room at 9 this morning and I sent him on his way
with my share of the Slade room money... Fooey... I'm home now,
glad to be here and not chasing Britman through The Gorge on I-40.

I caught up with a big clog of motorcycles going back over 215,
so at least I got to chase someone!

I've never been allergic to anything.

But every Spring with the oak pollen falling like rain for a month, I get a snootfull with the choking, coughing, watering sand in the eyes feeling.  For the first time ever, I wore one of my old blue covid masks while running my Stihl Magnum backpack blower, and it helped, some.  Except it fogs up the glasses.

With recent rain and wind, it's finally almost gone.

I've heard comments about the, um, big butts on our old school fat ladies.  Dare I say the new generation gals look a bit more... busty.

I like the customizations you've both done.

That looks an awful lot like A Hoilday Hotel's parking lot.

Great place and Rob, the owner, is super cool.

I’m bummed because I forgot this was the Dragon Wyre  weekend. Slade is an easy hour for me but it has been a busy week for me and it slipped my mind.

I arrived home at 3:30.  Caught pretty severe rain from Lexington to Cincinnati.  Other than that, a beautiful day.

Hmmmmmmm

Mike rode to Slade last year and we got RAINED ON so hard water was coming out of the rock face next to the road.

Mike didn't ride to Slade this year and it didn't rain all the way there, during being there and all the way home. Even though Joe washed his bike for the trip.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
