rear tire on front in 130/90-17. lower cost and longer life 25-28k miles for me. better tread profile for better handling along with the reduced OD which reduces the excessive trail number thereby better more responsive handling. odo will be spot on and speedo fast by 5 mph.

Bridgestone 701 Exedra. Not the Max version. I've used the Max on a 1600 Vulcan in the summertime but cold & wet, no experience but the 701/702, no issues. 38 psi. frt., 41 rear. The Avon is $251 but out of stock. The 701 is $212 but available and has been this way for about a year here in the states.
