Hi does heat deflector in front of carbs clip in any where or just sit loose.  T Tongue

I’ve slept since I had the carburetors out, but I’m fairly certain it is not fastened any any way.

Put mine in and it's loose moving everywhere.   Do the bottem bits go over something
