Nancy and I said our vows in a ceremony that started at 1:00pm. Was small, just family and a couple close friends. Me being the softee tried hard but unable to hold it together totally, but we managed. Just a few watery eyes and my voice broke a couple times as did Nancy's. At the end when told it's time to kiss the bride, I cupped her face in my hands and told her "for as many years as God gives us, I'll do my best to make you happy." I then kissed her on each eye, then the lips...at which time I heard some faint OOOHS from the ladies in the chapel. It was a small gathering so no reception, etc. I had called end of last week to make reservations at a favorite local restaurant for this evening at five, just the two of us enjoying a private meal in a quiet location. When asked, I told the lady it was a special day for us, kinda like an anniversary. She then asked "wonderful, how long" so I told her 4 hours. It took a moment then she caught on and broke out laughing. We're happy, now planning on driving out to IZ without the trike this time and will spend a week or more visiting family and friends on our way back home.  |

Wow, Just Wow, Congratulations are definitely in order.
Your life should be written up in a book of examples of life for people who never give up. It has taken turns that could have left lesser people despondent and broken. To me it shows your strength, and the blessings in the midst of trouble you have come through and that there is always hope.

Well, it's not the best shot taken but the only one I've received to pass on. I did notice it's a great picture of my double chin, an old fart's signature I guess. If one chin is good, then two must be better.  Although Nancy critized her own appearance I had no problem with it and told her so.  |
