Saw a guy riding one of these on my way to work this morning:

Thought that it was a pretty cool Retro Bike.

Turns out they have an entire line-up:

Never seen one before. Hard tail with what looks like an Earls fork.

The Janus bikes are made in Goshen,IN about 60 miles from me. I had been giving some serious thought about ordering the 450 Halcyon model. I had been thinking about downsizing from the F6B but when I got it out this Spring I realized I wasn't ready yet. I think the Janus would be a fun ride for local rides and maybe even a back road tour.

You're right that is certainly an "OUCH"!

I just built a 450 and it was over $16k, that's insane!

I have an old 450 Nighthawk parts bike, maybe I need to find a Janus frame and install the engine.

Bet that I could get $8k  Evil

I really like the bike but the prices are insane.  Meanwhile, Valkyries keep getting cheaper.  I might get an Interstate yet to keep the Mothership company.

Ride Safe,

Too many finer bikes of age still available at lower prices than this retro designed newby @ $6000 grand. Just saying. An XL250 comes to mind for one but if you got the money....
