We took off from AZ headed to AK about 12 days ago. 4,100 miles in all. Pretty uneventful other than a little stress pulling a car trailer with a motorhome thru the Salt Lake area during rush hour. Didn’t really get any pics other than this one in Canada.

After I sent the pic to my daughter, she texted me back asking why her Mom was casting the shadow of a penis over a large beaver ? I hadn’t really looked at the pic yet, but when I did I cracked up. I couldn’t have planned it any better.

We got to our lot and heard from Nautibrit that he and Donna were already visiting on the Peninsula. After doing some touristing in the area they came by for a visit. It was great to see George, it had been 2 or 3 years, and to meet Donna. We got to carrying on, and a little wine might have been consumed by Donna and I.  Smiley

It’s just Brenda and I this year, the grandkids didn’t come. We will see if the 2 of us survive 3 months of tight quarters.

Rob,

Great reading about y'all's big adventure so far! Appears in one of the photos the 'Emperor' is holding court and celebrating such a grand life... Recalling your earlier post, I couldn't help but wonder how Donna might have reacted to a sign on the door of the 'privy'... "Charmin available (some assembly required) ..." Oh well, with enough wine, everything is good...

The thought of all you and Brenda have undertaken and accomplished is inspirational, to say the least! Many view retirement as a time to leave work only, with little thought of going to something even more invigorating... a time to stop and sit down... to coast and become idle! Those folks don't seem to last very long. You and your partner, however, appear to be even more active and energized today than you did just a seemingly short time ago! Congrats!!! Well done, my friend...

retirement and traveling seem to be treating you right,  keep up the good work!   Grin

So many people, like my Dad, who retired age 55 due to medical reasons, always say they would like to travel around the US, but do not, for the next 20 or so year of their lives.
