quit watching BB in the 90's with Michael Jordan era long gone.  Was a huge fan in 80's with the Celtics vs. Lakers always seems like those 2 were in it in the end.

Tried getting back into it watching a few games this year here and there, but the game has changed since long ago and not to my liking.

Maybe a bit ugly, but a win.  It got uncomfortably exciting and came down to the finish.  A questionable lousy call gave Miami a final opportunity, and they couldn't capitalize on it.

Cookie I'm not a big NBA fan either but it was a Denver first, after 47 years as a franchise.  A pretty big deal.

Well, this sure puts a damper on Denver's victory.  When I saw the huge crowds on tv last night, I knew danger was brewing.  A sad statement on the times we're living in.

exactly,  one of the other main reasons on why professional sports (and somewhat all sports) are all hyped up more than they outta be.  People taking it way too seriously and doing stupid things like this shooting afterwards.

I quit playing softball soon after college, not because I was not good, but a few teammates took it way too seriously and bitched over every supposed bad call or barking at one another made it no more fun, so just never showed up ever again.

The amount of money these so-called pros make is insane, and if everyone was more like me and NOT show up or watch,  maybe these all mighty gifted athletes would face reality and live like a normal human being.
