My daughter takes those treatments.  They aren't cheap but seem to be helping.

I was gonna make a comment about the health insurance debate, but decided not to.  Hope Sugarbears insurance picks it up.

Sugarbear,
I had to look up rumicade infusion to see what you were talking about. I found this online, and was wondering if it might help you any.

The last nine months before I had my heart transplant I was on a IV system called Milrinone. It started out costing 5 grand a week then went to 10 grand a week about four months from transplant.
I was Lucky that I had good insurance, I was told by the time I got my transplant my insurance had already spent 1.5 million on me. It's been six years now and doing great, but have to take about 30 pills a day to a tune of about 27 grand a year in pills.....thank goodness for insurance!

I am working in the Czech Republic for a year or so.  Before I left, I went to Walgreens for a 3 month supply of flomax, blood pressure med, and crestor.  All old guy meds.  They wanted $630. I guess I had hit the "donut hole" in my medicare part D.  It cost me $80 for the GP to prescribe 2 of the meds and $250 for a urologist for the other. That doesn't count the $250 or so I pay back to the govt for medicare. I told them to keep them.  Here in CZ, they have national health.  The 2 DR. visits were free and the 3 months worth of meds were $15.
