Greetings everyone, I hope you are well and out there riding the roads. This year’s 6TH annual Quad-State Ride for IA, IL, MN, and WI will be held August 4-6. I have a block of rooms at the Prairie Inn and Suites in Holmen, WI. 608-781-4485 – Call Hotel to reserve your room ASAP. The block name is “Quad-State Ride”. Also, reply to bartzvrcc@gmail.com to let me know if you’re attending. I need this info in case I need to expand the block of rooms. I’m planning a lunch ride to Bucknuckles Bar & Grill in Alma. GREAT place, good food! Anyone is welcome on the ride, however if you want to go on your own adventure, you are welcome to do so. They are allowing us to have the fire pit again this year. WooHoo! If some that are trailering could bring a FEW logs for the fire, It’s appreciated. Charcoal grills are also available, but you are responsible for cleaning them. Will look into this opportunity. Way too many obstacles to commit at this time but, riding in some cooler weather with other Honda folks sounds like a great time. It also depends on how well that left knee heals up but.................. For me personally, would be an opportunity of an Iron Butt ride. Oh, Hell No.  Bump. Rams |

Well, I've done it again... I've made a reservation... It's a little uncomfortable making actual plans that far in advance, but... The outing you and Barb put on is becoming one of my favorites, so I reckon I'll do what I can to show up. I've even reserved a room with two beds in case Rams is able to make it... FYI Ron, if the proctologist does accompany you, he gets to sleep with you!

DDT Good idea regarding the proctologist, at least from your point of view.  Maybe not so much for RAMS.  I'm excited you are joining us again this year and just as excited as the first time you attended in 2020 as our "surprise guest". That's something I'll always remember. AN UPDATE to the weekend.
We are planning a cookout for Friday night at the hotel.
Food will be ready about 6 pm and we'll do our best to keep things fresh for those who arrive late.
If you could let me know you are attending, that would help me with the food count.
The menu is Black Angus burgers and hot dogs, Venison Brats,(with buns) and Motomama beans(Barbie version).
If anyone wants to bring something and has the space, snacks and cookies are always a great addition.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone. Travel safe.

Now don't think I've become some sort of convert here. Nope, planning is not some magical discovery that I intend to incorporate into my arsenal of travel tools. Truth is, I've sort of done minimal amounts of that all along, and it appears I'll be forced into continuing that indefinitely. Not important to the upcoming ride/gathering... Well, possibly in this one regard...
I'm working on convincing a certain 'mystery celebrity rider' to accompany me and take the bed vacancy left by Rams... He/she's playing hard to get right now, so even I don't know for sure if that person will actually be there, but... I do have a 'plan' to swell our number slightly, so please be advised... Also, please cross your fingers that I can actually pull this off!

Hey Bruce, looking forward to another crossing of the paths. We'll be meandering over ourselves in the car Friday since SOMEONE doesn't want to ride 200 miles on a bike/trike. Seems it would involve an extra bag for hair doctoring stuff. She also claimed she didn't have the required padding to sit on a bike seat for 3 hrs., my lips are sealed!  |
