I would like to welcome the latest chapter of the VRCC, the Vermin Club, from Washington State and the Pacific Norwest.  Many of the Vermin have been VRCC members over the years, and many still are.  Recently they decided to officially join the VRCC as a chapter.  Join me in welcoming the Vermin to the VRCC.

I would also like to thank Chapter leader, Redline for his patience with me getting things setup for them.

So what does Vermin stand for?  Any guesses?(From a non-member)

I've seen their logo so I won't spoil it.  It looks like someone chose a name he thought was cool and then backed into the acronym.

Welcome aboard, Vermin!

On behalf of the Vermin Club, I would like to thank Scott for his efforts. The Vermin are proud to now carry the VRCC banner. As the Washington State Chapter we would like to round up all the lonely VRCC members roaming aimlessly along the back roads of the Pacific Northwest and give them a good home. We have some good rides on the calendar...check us out at www.vermin-club.org

Washington State has some of the best riding in the country and the Vermin Club would love to share the wind with you. Need a reason to ride to the NW? Join us on one of our rides.

I wont give it away since I may be the only new yorker who has actually been at a
Vermin breakfast and kc and ratdog both told me what it means  If you click the site addy it tells you so no peeking.

I was taken to the meeting by KC (RIP) a few years back.

Good group of people, I have no idea how they ride in all that rain 11 months of the year and that crazy seattle traffic

The Vermin do like their breakfast, that's one thing we do every month for sure is meet for breakfast and have a meeting.

Traffic in Seattle is crazy, but we can be riding the twisties through the mountains in less than an hour.

I think rain 11 months of the year is a bit of an exaggeration Oss....it's more like 10.5

If you have the time, this is our June Vermin Club ride, copied from the Vermin General Board.

The Vermin will be joining the BC VRCC boys for thier annual Valhalla ride in New Denver, BC on June 18-20. Yes, I know, that's fathers day weekend, when dads get to do whatever they want, the Vermin dads are going riding. I'm sure your families will understand, if not, they'll get over it.

I just spoke to the nice lady at the Valhalla Inn to check room availability and pricing. She asked what club I represented, I guess you boys made an impression last time you were there, she remembered your visit well. I guess the repairs to the hotel are about finished, time to go back.

There are only 28 rooms total so we need to book early, rates range from $54 for single person to about $100 for two couples sharing a suite. I've never been there, looking at the map, looks like about a 500 mile ride to New Denver.

We will leave early Friday morning June 18th to attend the evening meet and greet at the pub. Saturday is sight-seeing, return on Sunday. You have six months to make arrangements for the time off so start sweet talking the wife/boss as necessary. Check your passports.

The following is copied from the BC VRCC site.

Valhalla Ride 2010

The date is set for the 2010 Valhalla Ride on June 18-19-20 in New Denver, BC. The Valhalla Inn is giving us reduced rates again this year for all those who make reservations and request the Valkyrie Rider's discount. Friday will be a Pub Night Meet and Greet. Saturday will begin with a breakfast buffet to get us on the road early. We will tour through Silverton to Nelson and on to lunch in Balfour. From there to Ainsworth Hot Springs for a swim (bring your bathing suits!!) and then on to Kaslo for a tour and ice cream then back through Nakusp to New Denver. The Valhalla Inn has offered a Buffet Dinner this year on Saturday evening if we want so I'll let them know if there is enough interest to do that. I would suggest that you make your reservations as soon as possible as there are always other motorcycle groups there at this time. Contact for reservations is at valhallainn.biz/contact.html or phone 250 358-2228. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and you are welcome to bring a friend. Let me know if you are planning to attend by replying to this message on this site so that I have a headcount. Feel free to bring a door prize donation. See you all there....Dennis

"VERMIN" have always been around... the difference is the association being "official".  Before, there used to be a WA Chapter of the VRCC, which "resided" on another area of WA State from where the VERMIN world HQ was.  The WA chapter fell by the wayside (for a few years).  Now... ya have roadents comin' in the front door.   Evil  As for the logo... the VERMIN's original director ("Crooz") and the one and only oZ combined their efforts to come up with the logo/patch.
