Well, 1300 miles on it. My nine-ball lasted me 90K miles and 14 years when I was run out of my lane and laid it down totaling it 6 years ago. This new one is an eight-ball and looks like it just came out of the crate. The previous owner was negligent in leaving it with gas in the carbs for way too long twice, resulting in two total carb rebuilds. It's running fine now with new fresh tires and I almost feel guilty adding mileage to it but hey, it's what they do and this one will probably outlive me given I retired and won't be commuting on it. Just runs to the store and stuff. I paid as much for it as I did for the first one 22 years ago with 900 miles on it. $10K. I know it's high but where are you gonna find a new one this old? I tend to look at ones where guys become afraid of their heft maybe(?) and they sit in a garage unused. I still have #1 in my garage. The crash bars worked perfectly. Not a scratch on the engine. If anybody in San Jose area needing parts, message me. The tank, Speedo, and headlight were affected.

I’m not familiar with your terms of 8 ball and 9 ball bikes. You paid 10k for a 2000 Standard ? What color ? You should list your parts in our classifieds.

I'm thinking one would have to play a lot of pool to be familiar with the standardized colors.

Heck, I knew the Cue Ball was white and the Eight Ball black but never paid any attention other than solid and stripes.

So I went to look, there is no Orange and Black but, there is an Orange, #13, I thought about getting a personalized tag with 13 on it but, very few would understand and, that's not a particularly lucky number.  Additionally, I gave up pool long ago.   I don't really believe in luck but, why push it...............  Wink
Edited: BTW, Be safe on that 8 Ball,
