Ok my FL Peeps.  Shocked Hunker down along the West coast and thru the mid-center of the state across to the north east coast. My area will be spared and I turly hope most of your area is too. If you are evacuating and come as far as Pensacola I have 3 rooms available. Be smart and stay safe.  coolsmiley  angel

Thank you. I believe we’ll be fine over here (Ormond), but thanks for posting and offer. Hopefully nobody will need to leave. Good luck and prayers for all.

Yes indeed, stay safe. We're not looking like we'll have much down here and that's good because I know people who are still rebuilding from Ian's destruction last September.

Western Marion county looking like we may get a direct hit. Trees on my property present a problem.  Made all preps yesterday except bringing in patio furniture. That will happen this morning then time to hunker down.

Sarasota home prep is done. Plenty of gas for the Gen, plenty of water. The Van Wezel performing arts Hall is secure. Wait game again. Sarasota = too much Heat, Humidity, Hurricanes and Humans.  The last one was not the case 40 years ago. Extremely warm water in the gulf.

Was working up on the Lake house Sunday afternoon through today.....then I found out the thing was heading right for Talahassee.....Got the Hell out of there around 1pm. On the way home today most of the fast food restaurants were closed already. Saw tons of boats being towed to safety and lots of motor homes heading to safety as well.
Found out it took a turn to the East so hopefully that house will be spared. Got home in time to get this one prepped and got gas for the generator if needed. Best of luck to all

Well we were truly spared in Sarasota. The power has gone out about 4 times but came right back on. I’m sure Nick, Don and Greg will loose power for longer periods of time as they are further north and closer to this beast then we are. They say cat 4 by LF  Shocked  The very night Trump won the presidency We stayed in Perry FL on the way back from the Natchez Trace ride with Keith and Milton Boys. I’ll bet this motel is gone tomorrow.  Sixlow used to stay in Perry when he was a trucker.

Update, only Don is out of power this morning.

Yep, I hope you guys weather the storm.  angel You should be alright I think you're far enough out. Prayers for my friend Wood Butcher ( Mark ) and his wife (Erin) and their place near Perry. They lost power at 7:30 this morning, I've texted him. Prayers for them angel I talked to my mom in Tallahassee and her neighborhood lost power at 6:30 am. Tallahassee should be spared for the most part being on the best side of the storm. Prayers for all in the path as I have many friends and family in the path. I was raised in Tallahassee.  smitten angel

We lost power about 7:30 this morning, for about 2 hours, I don't believe that the winds here ever got above 35 mph, and we only had a couple of minor limbs down and a lot of twigs. No damage at all.

Glad it was a short lived Hurricane. I've been thru some like Ivan in Pensacola that last all day. Damage was catastrophic throughout Pensacola. If you were trying to cross I-10 going east out of Pensacola forget it. The bay rose on both sides and floated the bridge at both ends. I-10 east bound was closed for 2+ years.  Shocked We had no power for over a week and that was quicker than most.
Glad this one was moving fast. Tallahassee was not hit hard at all but 50 miles east Perry had lots of trees down. Glad my FL Peeps got thru this pretty much unscathed.  angel
