A little history from the Jersey Shore. I never investigated much on this but after reading the below article in the raising of the anchor I dipped my toe into the history or the Morro Castle and it’s quite interesting.

Plenty of rumors, speculation and maybe some conspiracy theories, so if you’re the curious type look into some of the links below.

thanks will look into it more.

here is an interesting place in NJ

The Cedar Bridge Tavern is a historic building located in the New Jersey Pine Barrens in Barnegat Township. It was built around 1740 and is believed to be the oldest intact bar in the United States. It is located at the site of the last skirmish of the American Revolutionary War.
The "Affair at Cedar Bridge" is reenacted each year on December 17.

According to a 1981 survey by preservationists working with the New Jersey Office of Cultural and Environmental Services, the Cedar Bridge Tavern was estimated to have been built around 1740 close to a stage coach route between Camden and the Jersey Shore. The wood-sided tavern with the long front porch has served as a hotel, restaurant and bar for travelers. Ocean County purchased the property from its last owner, Rudolf Koenig, in 2008 for $120,000.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the 76 house in Tappan NY is way earlier

The Old '76 House (also just called '76 House) is a true American Classic. Built in 1686 when the Dutch founded Tappan, it's been a public house ever since. During the revolutionary war--because of Tappan's proximity to the lines of battle--the tavern became an important center for activity.

It is where Major Andre was held before being hung at the order of Gen Washington for having received the plans for West Point from Benedict Arnold

I drive by it every week on the way to visit my mom

The '76 House, also known as the Old '76 House, is a Colonial-era structure built as a home and tavern in Tappan, New York, in 1754 by Casparus Mabie, a merchant and tavern-keeper.
History
Origin
In spite of local claims of much earlier construction (dating to founding of Tappan in 1686), the '76 House appears only to predate the American Revolution by several decades. The earliest confirmed dates concerning any structure on or near the site involve one Antie Myers, a widow, who was licensed in 1705 to sell drink, "as per her recognizance," in her house in the immediate neighborhood of today's '76 House.[citation needed] After her death around 1721 her home was purchased by Yoast Mabie, a brother of Casparus. The house was demolished in 1835. In 1753, Casparus Mabie bought a piece of land from Cornelis Myers, Antie's son.
