It was a very nice day. Temperature was 75 degrees and humidity was 23%. Could not ask for a better day for a ride. I am still somewhat limited in time away from home so...... I made two trips. One to the grocery store and then hardware store (morning) and then to visit an old friends home (late afternoon).
I have been by their house several times since moving to the Newberry area. We first met in late 1962 at Newberry College and our last communication was some four or five years later. But memories are memories and the trip was about a memory. And yes there are many memories.

Not much to see in rural SC but the land was clean and neat and farms appeared in good shape. Road, not so much.
I shortened the video to three minutes because of the camera mount being not right and the road getting rough. So, I took some screen shots.
Total length of trip 45 minutes. (Did not measure distance). It was a very, very, very nice day for a ride.
Bike was my 2007 ST1300A. (Rode the Valkyrie yesterday for some errands).

From the link below this line:
Inscription. On December 7, 1756, the Council of the Colony recorded a petition of Jacob Hoffman for 200 acres of bounty land. He was granted this acreage on Palmetto Branch in 1758. The building on this tract, which has long been known as "The Rock House," exhibits details of construction which support the local tradition that it was built before the American Revolution.https://www.hmdb.org/m.asp?m=13281
