FWIW to the Fla. gang, my granddaughter & hubby in Sanford have offered us the chance to use their camper this coming winter. It's not a pop-up type and about 22' or 25'...forgot exactly, is fully equipped for living and sleeps four. They have room to park the trailer and a shelter in case I want to tow the trike down. The camper is already hooked up in their backyard, just need to plug it in and then turn on the water. He even hooked up a discharge for the sinks and commode instead of having to empty the tanks. If we should find a spot on the beach somewhere, we have permission to tow it over and park it there for a while. Sounds like winter is going to be a bit warmer in the Schmidt House this year.  Wink

Well, it’s about time!
My thoughts exactly Jerry. This will be my 5th winter here and I want out of it for part of the time. Here's hoping the weather will be conducive to riding and golfing. My granddaughter is all excited about gramps bringing his trike down. She has her own bike and rides with her husband and often without him...and is looking forward to taking a ride with me...just the two of us. How often does a granddad get to do that with his granddaughter?

We used to go to Jetty Park for the day, never stayed overnight. It's near Port Canaveral.

That sounds great. We’ll have to plan a ride while you’re here for a get together. I want to check out your trike.

Will be good to see you again! Drive safe down here. Seems like once you get out of lower wisconsin, Ill. and Indiana the roads get much better.

You haven't driven in the Green Bay area. My car has acquired more rattles now in the last four years than the preceding 14 combined.

Welcome back to the sunshine state. It's good to hear you will be able to get away from the extreme weather for a bit.  If I remember correctly there is a beach side campground in Ormond . Sorry I don't know the name of it.
