Friday…….
Yard cleaned up and looking good!

Today (Monday)
Not looking so good!  Shocked

Last year the snow came even earlier and stayed. Hoping this year it melts and warms up (which is not unusual) so the winter season isn’t so long.  Roll Eyes

There are times when I miss the snow we had in Bremerton Washington back in 1972.

For those that like it, you can have my share.   I have absolutely no desire to ever see the white stuff again.   Three (almost four) years living about 30 miles south of Lake Erie was enough for me.   Never again.   Only place I've ever lived where I needed a snowplow on a Jeep just to get to work on a daily basis.

I had the good luck to be in Buffalo living near the south campus when the Blizzard of 77 hit

You had to be careful walking on Bailey Ave as the snow was just high enough that you could touch the power lines along the road.  They made a mountain out of the snow they got off that road using front end lifters and dump trucks   It turned Black as coal within a few weeks   Undecided

That was my senior year. Even tho I got into UB LAW I decided to take a chance on a new school Cardozo Law in Manhattan.  Communting on the west side highway ruined my 57 and the Dart that I replaced it with. But thats another story for another time

Snow is fun unless you have to move it or are unprepared for it.   Hurricane force Wind is worse for me.

I would rather ride the motorcycle at 40 crisp dry degrees like this morning than at 90 and high humidity

Peak weeks for leaves start now

On this, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.  Wink

Yeah, back when I used to straps skis on, it was fun but, that was long ago.

If you don't mind , where were you by Lake Erie? I'm 3.3 miles from Lake Erie as the crow flies- no snow here YET.

A few miles north of Ravena.   Got promoted and moved to KY.   Loved it there.  Now in Southern Mississippi.

About 5”…..tells me it’s here to stay  Roll Eyes.

Oh well, maybe this will be a good year for lots of snow, especially in the mountains. We need it. We’re still underwater ban here. Just means six months of winter instead of five and it’s not like that hasn’t happened before.  Cry
Gotta go shovel……later.

Snow has been a 4-letter word for me since I started riding a motorcycle. Mostly it is something to get through....

I don't mind the snow so much, it's the crap they spray on the roads and bridges.  IL
Sprays this sticky corrosive s#it on the briges if frost is expected. So you could have a nice sunny day, perfect for a cruise but all the bridges are soaked in the metal eatin brine. Bad enough on my truck, but not taking the bike out . tickedoff

I think it’s called calcium chloride.  Undecided
They do the same thing here.

If it stays you won't have to rake the leaves from that tree till spring.

No such luck!
Kinda what’s neat about our weather.

Just blew them to the tree base. I’ll pick them up come spring.

Yesterday.
