I ordered some goodies along with my calendars and the goodies came yesterday. Just wondering about the shipping charges because I think this is extreme for a small box that weighs next to nothing. The shirts were cheaper than the shipping charges.

I buy extra stuff, hoping to support the forum a bit. I’m don’t know what I paid for shipping but I’m sure it wasn’t near this high or I wouldn’t have ordered. As much as I like a new shirt once in a while, with shipping charges being this high, it seems to me to be a losing proposition and I’m wondering if it would just be better to donate a few bucks instead of purchasing the items.

Wow, (not that it's any of my business but) I have to ask, how much did that package weigh?

I just bought an Interstate tank that's being shipped to me.   With appropriate insurance, shipping was $122.

Thinking I need to get back into the delivery business.  Wink

That was a post office error that I did not catch. The Lady ran it 3 times, so something must have been off with her computer. Next time it happens I will take the box back and wait for another day. By the way, you were not charged that amount for shipping.

I ship a lot of stuff. I even ship internationally. I use www.pirateship.com. They ship via UPS and USPS, and have better discounted rates than even my Godaddy website. Anyone can use them. Just sign up.

P.S.  For those didn't notice, this was posted to Canada.

As Don stated, it was an error at the post office.  I try very hard to set our store's shipping charges appropriately and not take a loss.

T-man, we appreciate your support.  Shipping to Canada is high, but not that high.

Every time I shipped to Canada , I had the same issue.  I would get a quote , get an OK , and when I took the package in , it would be a lot higher. I finally asked for the Quotes in writing.

Okay good!
I know I have shipped parts and pieces south and never had shipping charges that I felt were extreme. Thanks for the responses everyone and to the admin’s, Thanks for all your hard work.
