She came into my room and announced "I wouldn't vote for either Desantis or Newsom, they're both assholes!" She then related how and why she came to that conclusion, said she cut it off after about 20 minutes cuz she couldn't stand to watch anymore of it. Now she knows why I spent my time folding clothes, followed by watching Gunsmoke(and Miss Kitty).  |

DeSantis is a legitimate candidate for President, Newsome was not.
Debating him gave him credibility as a candidate.

While I whole heartedly agree with the last statement, what the debate did for me was reinforce my gut feelings about Newsome. So, it wasn't a total waste of time. Personally, I'm leaning toward a DeSantis/Haley or Haley/DeSantis ticket for 2024 but that depends on who actually becomes the candidate in the General Election. I'm also hoping Manchin runs as an Independent (taking a bunch of Dems, some Independents and a few Republicans votes with him). There's absolutely no way I can vote for the current POTUS. His failures are way to numerous to mention here. Rams |

No way would I have watched/listened to them interrupt each other.
But I read a Florida/California comparison the other day about which
state was losing residents and which state was gaining them, which
state had onerous income taxes and which didn't.
Even so, if those two were running, the woke and the young would
turn out in hordes to vote for Newsome...

It seems most debates have become this way as of late. I can’t think of three guys I’d wish to listen to less than Hannity, DeSantis, and Newsom. |

Only watched bits and pieces and my take away is this.
If you ever had any doubt about the fact that Newsome knows what he is doing to the California, this confirms it, "he does".
It also verifies he has no excuse he can speak of to legitimize destroying one of the most beautiful states in the US and not caring for its people.
He never answered in facts, he always spun the conversation.
Desantis at least had facts, this debate showed another thing, the fact that Desantis had facts, Newsome had spin, typical of the world today.
