Looking for recommendations for a good mechanic in the North Texas area. The closer to Sherman, the better. I need fork springs, brakes, and regular maintenance done on one of my Valks and don’t have time to do it.  Thanks in advance.

I can recommend an independent guy.  He's curious what you mean by regular maintenance and if you have the parts already, or not.  Also, do you have the space to do the work there, or would the bike need to be moved somewhere else to be worked on?

One of these years, I would like to get our bikes together for a photo op!

Regular maintenance like oil change, spline lube(probably need to replace the tires due to age really). Would like to replace the wheel bearings too. Along with the aforementioned fork seals and springs, and brakes. I don’t have parts but can order them. I don’t have room right now due to my garage and shop being full of assorted crap(which is partly why I’m not doing it myself). So the bike would need to come to the mechanics shop for the work. I haven’t ridden it in a year or so due to leaking forks. I can trailer it to the shop.

Text Robert Rodgers at 940 368 1945.  If you call first, he won't answer if he doesn't have your number in his phone.  He's with Vintage Motorsport in Plano.

Did you contact Robert?  Was he able to help?
