The Nickel Trick is one of the first things I learned about Valkyries...

Up until that time, I did The Gloves And Glasses trick.

Put my gloves and glasses in the seat of my FLSTS, start it,
and try to grab my gloves and glasses before they hit the
ground...

I showed my friend the Nickle trick one day. He said he could do the same thing on his '76 shovelhead. Except he used a dollar bill and the leaking oil stuck it to the engine block.

Once showed a group of Harley riders the nickle trick.  One of the guys looked at me and said "my Harley will do that with a brick"

The nickel trick cooldude

I did it in front of several riders decades ago and one HD rider stated "I could do that with my Harley, with a welder"
