Heading to Laura's last reconstructive surgery today at 11.  Hopefully this is the last of this and we can put everything in the rear view mirror.  I imagine it'll be late afternoon, early evening before I can get out a status update

Sorry for the delay, things have been hectic.  Laura has been battling breast can cancer since early January and this last surgery (hopefully) closes the door on things.  She had a partial in March, double mastectomy in August, tubes and ovaries in September, all the expansion process through this past week and now finally implant reconstruction.  Poor girl look like a samurai has hit her in the chest a few times.  She's healthy which is super important.  Hopefully this closes the chapter of a pretty lousy 2023

Cancer that dirty word we all know and hate. I think we all have had experience with this monster. I'm very sorry to see this and hoping for a good outcome. You guys are in my thoughts.

Haven't been here for a while, so sorry to hear about Laura... Chris, you can jump into Laura's recovery room just like you did into mine, but I don't think you'll have the same effect... probably just as well! Laura, never stop fighting! I've managed to get a few scooter rides in, even last weekend, but still need to straighten out the wiring on the trike.. hard time getting down on my knees (sorry, guys) maybe this spring...
I will definitely pay more attention in the future. new owner of a 2002 Saturn, please take care of yourselves, a planetary realignment may be in order....  smitten

Karen, I have been known to stand in a chair, lay flat on my back on a dining room table, or even swing from a chandelier... angel Evil

I pulled a muscle in my back just thinking about the antics I used to do....
No doubt I'd break a hip trying to perform any of those again.....
