A friend of mine sent me this link.  Just thought I'd share it here.  It is sort of interesting and might be helpful to some.

I don't really have room, well maybe down in the work shop.  I do have some time this winter.

Interesting design.   I not sure I would want to load our Valks on that.   Maybe if made it at least double the width.

And, maybe double the strength of the supports, or add another down the center. The ramp would have to be longer, too.

No pictures or discussion on riding that thing up the tilted lift, stopping, getting off, and somehow securing the bike to it without it falling down or off (maybe on you).

I would kill for a garage like that.  My 2 interstates just fit in a 10 X 12 shed with modern bike jack stored under a small work bench.  I cannot work on the lift with both bikes in there, so unless I back one out first and center the other up, my work is all done in the driveway (poured from street all the way back to the bike shed on the rear lot line).  I have a propane burner heater, but do all work in warmer weather outside.

I have this somewhere in my computer though the WWII variant as this was supposedly the original history of it. The only thing I would add would be steel bushings at the pivot points if I were to use it a lot. I would have to store the Valk on it come layup time. Got no extra floor space to spare.

These guys built something similar.  They even reference the same WWII Motorcycle Mechanics Handbooks referenced in the Grassroots Motorsports' article.

Don't think I'd use it for the Valk, but definitely the CRF250X or the KX450...

...of course, I'd have to build it first.   Huh?
