On occasions, like today, when we need some music that is powerful and meaningful, we do watch music on You Tube.

On the years we found, by accident, a group called Celtic Woman.  At first we just liked their music. And they did their singing live.  And it was meaningful.  The group has changed members over they years but, today we just saw a song that did move my wife and i.

The song - Going Home

The first verse:

They say there's a place where dreams have all gone
They never said where, but I think I know
It's miles through the night just over the dawn
On the road that will take me home

The song on You Tube:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmNvFWFz-7g

The link below is to an audible version of the song with lyrics

I love their music.   cooldude

In my youth when I had a voice, I sang in school glee club.  Our men's choir always scored top marks in competitions.

Our oldest son moved to Denver in 97' thus our 1st. visit we were very awed by the Rocky Mountains. We lost FM radio signal in the mountains thus we switched to AM. We got a station that played Connie Dover thus we got hooked on Celtic music especially Christmas music. This is the song that we heard:

I find a lot of the music from the Celtic Woman is moving.  Some movingly joyous.  Some movingly life changing as we grow, make decisions, and move on to the next adventure.

To some degree similar to riding  our two wheeled transport devices to regions unknown or never traveled before.

The song When You Go is like that.

I feel it may be the same for everyone, but Celtic music effects me to the core.

It's a good thing.

Thanks for the post.

Agreed.

Not to push this thread off it's intended course or drift but, watching and listening to the "Celtic Women" brought me to this.

Rising Fawn Soldier, Christiana Ball, sings Some Gave All

I have very deep convictions and feelings and this causes me to remember and moves me.
