Be on the lookout for you know who! I'm leaving Sat. for S. GA for Christmas where the wife and I will be with family. She leaves today Friday, I leave after our Sat. AM RTE. Then Sunday the rain moves in for a wet Christmas in S. GA.  Undecided  I'll leave Tuesday to head back to the Pan-handle.  coolsmiley

What is ridging?

Is it like riding a motorcycle sitting on the tank?   Grin

I almost went for a ride today.  But I just didn't feel like putting on all the gear to avoid freezing.

I have a snowmobile coverall suit.  Not only does it look stupid, it becomes a flapping sailboat at speed.   Grin

I actually did ride on my tank once.

No matter how good it looks, Armoralling your seat is a big mistake.   crazy2

Yeah, I had a snowmobile suit that I wore a few times in the winter when I rode my CB750 Honda up in the N. VA area.  Man, it kept me warm.  As soon as I got to where I was going, I had to take it off right away to keep from sweating!  But, it did look kind of funny.  The Michelin Man kind of funny!  lol

did my annual winter solstice 12/21 ride. was 38F when I left for breakfast and 85 miles round trip.

will be riding 12/24 and 12/25 in the morning breakfast rides both days. high 30s and low 40s F both days from base. going north and through state forests so 8-10 degrees F colder than base. will be 80 to 100+ miles both days.

I did a little lunch ride Friday to JB Boondocks. Probably in the high 60s. Kinda overcast and cool setting outside on the lake's edge.

I rode to run some errands today. The idiots were out in full force. I survived and made it home. Took the Prelude ('99) out for a spin, about 15 miles, mainly to run some gas through it and to keep the fluids circulated. I enjoy driving it but I think my V6/6 speed Accord is quicker and faster. It's a real hoot to drive!

Roxie and I and one of our neighbors Rode about 175 miles yesterday with a RTE Breakfast at BBQ Bill's in Chiefland, back almost to Crystal River, then to a point SW of Dunnellon, then North of Dunnellon, and then the long way back home. It seems that traffic on US 41 between Williston and Dunnellon TERRIBLE on Saturdays, no matter which direction you are headed. I would rather take the long way around on US 19 and SR 121.

Weather permitting, we will be riding again next Saturday, as our Godchild will be home from Ohio for about a week, and she is hooked on riding on the back of the Harley!!!
