Since I have been to few of our national gatherings, I don’t think I ever had the pleasure of meeting face to face with you or Don. But as a husband of 53 years I’m sure Don would cherish your memories as much as you do and would want nothing but joy and happiness for you going forward. Tears are many times a part of happiness and great joy as they are in great loss so let them flow as needed. I’m hoping there are some traditions around Christmas that you guys shared that you can recreate.

Thank you... Merry Christmas .

Well I did make  Spinach/Artichoke  dip in between my work yesterday.
And  a  few Spoonfuls  was my supper..
Today I'll work on French Coconut custard pie.  Maybe  candied yams , greenbean Cass..
Then I wouldn't  need to cook supper  for a  few days.   cooldude

Don / Highbinder  Loved my  x-mas cookies and  candies..
So to keep some  sense of normalcy.

The rain here is coming in bursts. Maybe I should have said BURSTS! In
a lull, I just went up to where our cars are parked for something. A
BURST came right as I stepped outside. Who knew I could still run
that fast? The rain should end here in an hour or so. I look forward
to going down to the creek to see if the beaver dam got blown
out, I bet the creek went way up...

It's raining here , most of the  night on and  off..
We  need a  LOT of  rain, But not as  gully washers..
A  good steady rain. Most of the  folks  in my area are OUT of  water.
Ours is  very slow.. This  can help..
But with out the good  snows to sink into the  water table ,The  drought is still an issue..
I  know  the  snows are coming... One  just  must keep the  faith ! That  they will get here..
LOL But not that I'm looking forward to snow, as  that just makes my days harder than they are.
It's  a double edge  sword..   angel
