The strongest storm since the last hurricane. We still have a tornado warning until 8am. I don’t think we have any damage. Only momentary power outages. Power on now and winds dying down. We can still hear it roaring and booming lightning to our east but soon it will quiet down. The news was saying the wind gusts were hurricane strength.

LOL. Guys. Yes, the two Cobras are just fine. The car had two layers of covers inside its carport and the bike is in the house. Not a drop of water got on either.  cooldude

Glad all is well Jeff.
By the time it got down here we got 20 to 25 mph winds and about .3" of rain. We'll take the rain during dry season, it helps keep the fire risk lower.

Yesterday around 2PM we got one of those "radar indicated" tornados 10 miles southwest of Chiefland heading northeast at 70MPH. I bailed out of the RV into shelter, fortunately it didn't reach the ground.

Better safe than sorry. Glad it worked out well!

I agree about the storm.
Am up at the house on Lake Talquin at the moment. Branches and a tree are down on the property here. Tree is too big for me to handle by myself and there was  so much rain the area that  where it went down is too wet to get a normal vehicle in there at the moment.
On a good note the first part of a 40x65 building is up and completed. The second part will be the 25' overhang part and the dirt is already there for that. Rain did some damage and washed some of it away but I think it will be okay for posts installation and progress..... we shall see.

Sorry I’m late posting this, but I’m glad everyone is ok.  I was concerned for the panhandle area of Florida and areas northwest of us, from what we were hearing.

That is a very sweet car Jeff.

Nice work, as usual.   cooldude

My old '62 Sprite was a beater when I got it, but I enjoyed it.

Not mine.

Nice. I think that was a body style after they were known as the bug eye.

No sir, the Bugeye Sprite was a different body style.  Likely the same frame and drive train.
