Hi guys, a little late but I wished to follow up on the Valhalla 2022 Grand Forks annual rally we had.
As a trial, I offered a raffle draw. If I recall correctly, I added a couple of consolation prizes and the item of choice the VRCC 2023 calendar.
My intention was to pay for the calendar from the funds collected, and then donate the rest to this forum, to help run the board.
It was a better success than I could have hoped. We were able to order the calendar and have it delivered to the winner, Jay - WA, and then give a one time donation from the Valhalla group, Pacific North West riders, BC, and all the others who showed up (AZ, ID, AB), of $130 USD. Thanks Dave M for the payouts.
Unfortunately, I did not try it again in 2023. There was a little difficulty with the way I did it. But it finally was completed and the fund/prize were given away.
Thank you all for your participation and attendance at our annual Rallies, making a great meet and fun time for all. Our wives for coming along too, and keeping us in line and adding a different flavour to our gatherings. Things like organizing dinner on site on the BBQs for 20 people.
