All those years of wheeling a big truck all over America has taken a toll on the old body. NOT Repeat NOT a complaint. My left hip frpm years of double clutching and holding the clutch in during heavy metro traffic or-sigh-orange barrel zones-all contributed to where I am now. Phatt Ghurl my Green and Silver Interstate has been By Far THE BEST MOTORCYCLE I've ever thrown a leg over. She has carried me over 100000 miles with a couple of hiccups along the way and has afforded me Friendships and get togethers I Would have missed ridin something else. But I am about to turn the page and start a new chapter in pursuit of that Wind Therapy we all love! Josh Cilley couple months back sent me a link for an 88 Goldwing Trike with reverse and a bit more than 91 G on the clock for right at 4 G. It got sold to someone else guy knew daprez and long story long it IS in my Brothers shop and he's prepping it for me. Soooo come March or April this ol fart gonna be back in da wind! And Good LORD willin the creek she no rise I should be in Dubuque Ia. for Inzane 24! Something tells me I git back in da wind lotsa aches and pains gonna dissappear! RIDE SAFE.

Excellent news.
There's a slight learning curve moving from a bike to a trike. No more counter steering and those rear brakes can surprise you, not to mention the possible hydroplaning that can occur on wet roads but, I have complete confidence in you getting it right.

Glad to hear you'll be getting back in the wind, it does a body and soul good!
And glad to hear you'll likely be at IZ, I'm HOPING I can make it, having to watch things carefully on the $$$ front, but really REALLY hoping I can swing it!

And to add, at least the current generation of drivers (Which might be the last generation of drivers) won't have those issues, almost all new semis hitting the road are automatics now...

Yo, OSS: “ phatt Ghurl my Green and Silver Interstate has been By Far THE BEST MOTORCYCLE I've ever thrown a leg over. She has carried me over 100000 miles with a couple hiccups “ Did you get the parasitic current issue resolved? I intended to visit with a multimeter and track down the culprit but I’ve been a little tied up lately. Gonna try to call you later this evening … saw your message, Good Job! You did great! I bet you’re out of the woods on this issue, with just a little cosmetic shmoozing no one will ever know! Don’t know the current rating of the replacement switch but guessing 5A should suffice Congratulations on the new ride, Dennis, I’d like to check it out ((may be one in my future…) Since you asked I will update: feeling much better but I’m unbalanced and aching (probably due to muscle atrophy) can’t complain but sometimes I still do, in-home therapy has ended going for outpatient next week at the brand new place in town new machines = less old sweat. Dealing with a lot of insurance and employment issues Wife & son tell me to sell the bikes ( I’ll hang on to a few) not quite ready to roll right now but I still dream about it. Got to build strength and stamina up first, been working on stairs with a cane and death grip on banister, maybe get a trike, I’m older now but still running
